I work as a music and music technology lecturer at Barnsley College. I am also a songwriter and performing musician, freelance sound engineer, producer and video editor. This is the hub for my music, studies and other creative projects.
I am currently working on a Toolkit of live music devices, the first being a plug in device for Ableton Live called Relative Tap Tempo, which drives a system of Reactive Backing. This is available through this site: /livetoolkit
As a part of my Masters, in 2009 I created a Synthesis Tutorial program using Max5. I updated the program early 2010 (v1.03) for general release and it can be found through the Synth Tutorial page of this site: /tcsynthtutorial. It is totally interactive and is intended for anyone who is interested in learning or teaching the basics of sound synthesis.
